Hey guys I'm new to the site :D
My ek is in shop right now and is being painted championship white!
I bought a set of white 16x7 Buddy club rims and want them to be ready to put on (4x100,42mm offset)
My car is lowered on Tein springs (Lowered 1.9" in front and 1.7" in rear)
I was wondering what would be a good tire size, I want to make sure that the tires dont look too thick and make sure that they wont rub
THanks for your help guys :)

definitely 45 profile.

Went to few tyre shops when i needed tyres for my enkei 16" rims and they all said 205/45/16.

ok thanks!
Are you sure that I shouldn't get 205/40-16?

yes I have tein flex on my 2000 Hatch & my car is dunked..I bought a set of 16" ITR's with 205/45/16 & they rub to much in the front so I now ordered a set of 205/40/16 also do you have the rear panels smashed in or cut????

I don't have the tein coilovers yet.
I plan to get some but I just have the Tein S tech springs right now.
I want to make sure that the tires I get won't rub

195 is a bit skinny like

205/45 is your best option :)

ok nice, thank you guys!
Has anyone ever tried the Kumho SPT tires?
I was thinking about getting a set

I would go for 205/40/16 the 45s will rub to much on the front.

He's just on lowering springs. I've had those 205/45/16's on similar lowering springs and nothing rubbed.

ok nice, thank you guys!

My friend tried them and loved them, they are one of the best in the lower price range. The sidewall has some good stiffness.
