what pads ?

Here the Ferodo DS2500 is very populair. I will buy them for sure.
I have now TWR on my eg6, they bite a lot better than stock pads on OEM discs, but very dusty.

I have Ferodo racing ds2500 pads with tar.ox disc and goodridge lines they are ok but when is hot or during a long stop the steering shake a lot and the stopping power is ****.

I will have a try with endless m-sport when this are gone.

got endless CCX pads, need a bit of heat in them for best power but they just get better and better the more heat you get into them

Im now using ferrodo DS 2500's pads and i think there good for the money £100 for the fronts

Hehehe best pads in the world! lol :nice:

im assuming the cc-a is the step down from the ccx??
any good?
just not looking for a severe track setup..just an upgrade on standard as i dont rate them that highly on standard discs and pads.

Is a great option, but with HAWK HPS you should be fine :nice: cheaper..

Spoon pads aren't really the best bet, looked into them but somone posted a comparison with the Endless CCX and said the endless were better.....

there is sooooo much choice out there with pads that you really just have to go by reviews/other peoples opinions and decide which will suit you best

Suppose your right..ive heard good about the endless ones..so give them a bash i reckon :D

What kind on yours?

i have heard nothing but good reviews about the Dixel pads and discs,,

for the price Hawk sounds like a good bet.

would Hawk HPS all round with standard discs and perhaps upgrading to braided lines make a difference. or do people recommend better discs to?

They're better because they are almost track only pads, they DO make a lot of dust, spoon pads where made just to not fade at the track :nice: they can handle more heat :drive:

Hawk HPS work well with standard discs, you'll need stainless steel brake lines if you'll use your car at the track, if not you can keep your oem ones, remember that your oem ones are made from "rubber" so with a lot of heat they'll expand. If you have the money, upgrade your pads + brake lines...

You can also upgrade your discs, but if you upgrade try to buy from a respectable brand, my suggestion will be to buy slotted discs, do not buy drilled discs, since they tend to crack very easily specially at the track...

Hope this helps.

cheers rvm..much appreciated. pretty much exactly what i was thinking you would say :)
