j's racing induction with cold feed and heat reflective custom box
Spoon exhaust system
ATS carbonetic 4.9 final drive

say if ctr is 185 out of factory would these get me 200bhp?i dont know that much about n/A gains as im more into turbo

thanks

i dont know about the final drive giving you hp but i think you should get around 200..

I agree with blinx9900 if properly tuned

By the way, do you all know how to say or pronounce well 5zigen ??

You pronounce it like this: Go Tsigen, Go is 5 in Japanese :wow:

really? we just say "five zigen" here in the US.

The final drive is going to make the car more jumpy and accellerate quicker, and you may very well get a 10 peak HP increase from the other mods. The only way to know is to take it to a dyno.

The key word there is the 4.9! :D We all know how essential is the upgraded ECU for the other mods to work...... So, all your mods except the 4.9 final drive will give you around 10 bhp. If you just feel the pull that all your mods give(except the 4.9) is less than the 4.9 standalone. Definitely, you reach 200 bhp!!

And Tsigen means "dimensions". so 5Zigen = 5-dimensions

Just pop over the plastic cover that the ecu is behind and you'll see if its a spoon one, Here's mine -

VTEC should be coming in earlier than a standard ek9 too.

Interesting!! Just like people say for the 1996 Midori Green right! Well MIDORI = Green is Japanese!!! We should make a Japanese word meanings thread !

You should be pushing 200 @ the flywheel if your engine is fit mate, bin the j'racing induction kit though there not good you get MEGA heat soak

Eh no you wont, J's is one of the best intake's available for the b series engine. Just because its a short ram intake doesn't mean its gonna soak up every bit of heat in the engine bay. Read up about them:angry2::angry:

well seeing as i have heatwrapped the intake pipe on the j's and am making a heat reflective box and custom cold air feed i think the j's is doing a great job:bow:

Look man ive had first hand experience with this i recently rolling roaded my car it got 197 bhp with a 18 degree c intake temp right trough the rev range on my ek9 ,my friend put his ek9 on straight after mine and his has the j's racing intake on it his air intake temperature was 38.5 degrees c which = an N/A disaster j's racing air intake is not one of the best intakes on the market for the b series and the only reason j's use it and get results is because the use the proper j's racing bummper duct and a huge 5'' cold air feed practically right over the filter its well know in honda circles that a simple drop in panel filter or a high end closed air box type intake (i.e mugen or itg maxgen) are the only kind of intakes that actually work, even if you have a big cold air feed to the j's air intake and take the car for a run pull up and feel the j's intake and it'll be RED HOT lol ,iv'e had a j's intake there not the best mate ,they look good and sound cool at the end of the day the closed intake type is always going to get you cooler air and not draw hot air from underneath the bonnet, oh and by the way i know how the j's is supposed to work the fat part of the intake pipe stores air for the vtec cross over point so that it evacuates the air when vtec comes in thus incresing the amount of air into the engine ,but hey you know best mate :blabla:
