It'd probably be less of a headache for you if you got someone like Duncan from this forum to import one for you, but if you really want to do it for yourself try Japanese used cars. Used Japan car exporters. Used Japanese car dealers. [ tradecarview ] or www.mashamotoimports.com.

Make sure you do your research on whoever you want to buy from before you put any acutal money down!

It is a lot easier for residents of Malta to buy a car from the UK that has been registered here for over than 1 year. I thinks it either saves a lot on tax or is a lot easier to register over there.
I just sold a ek9 to Malta , about 4 weeks ago now.

wow dunx you surprised me with that one. i'm from Malta also and ek9's in Malta are really expensive. You said you sold an ek9 to Malta....may I ask what was the price as I was thinking of doing something like that

ok is it just me or are the prices rediculously low on tradecarview, is that the price in USD i see? that seems low and even the freight cost seems low to me, if its true imma buy a couple ek9's and GTR's, no but seriously is it really that low cause im really interested, only problem i have is i live in PA not CA.

Yeh it is low, until you have to pay all the import taxes and things, then the price quickly rockets!

Taxwise I think its better for us Europeans to buy a car from the EU, than from Japan...
