Well done to Scooby18! *Update 17/05/15

This is an old post he has gone faster since and we have another drag day in a couple of weeks at which he will go faster again. He's turned out in that video because he's hooked to the back of a jeep. We don't have a proper drag strip here so the boys find it harder to get heat into their tires.

Yeah I realise its an old thread, was just curious about the 60ft and trap speed. How fast has it gone now?
Hooked on the back of a jeep, so it doesn't move when doing a burnout? Awesome:drive:
Same problem in Scotland, no proper drag strip.:(

So today he managed to pull off a 1.600 60ft with a 11.82 quarter mile

Now that's mental lol

Yeah seen this on facebook!! Insane time! Trap speed was 112mph I'm sure

That is a seriously good 60ft time if done on an old airfield.
Top work!

I'd be chuffed with that and mines 350hp lol

A massive well done to Rory for setting his latest PB of 11.82 over a 1/4 mile.

There was some very long days put in leading up to this event in order to have the car ready on time, it didnt come off the Dyno till around 9pm Saturday and then Rory had to make the 4hr journey from our workshop to Downpatrick the same day! Certainly worth all the effort when you see a 1.8 NA FWD Honda knocking out 11 second runs :nice:

Search for "honda-haven drag days" on fb. Few videos and pics on that.

Excellent work!! That's a serious time for a B18 FWD honda, what ever you are doing along with the building and mapping is certainly working well!

Whilst the engine building and mapping does fall on my shoulders the car would be nothing without the super consistent driving that Rory brings every time! Not many people could get behind the wheel of that car and knock out 1.600 0-60ft.

I know exactly what you mean, I did a few drag racing events years ago at Bishops court before starting trackdays and the hardest part was getting off the line without loads of wheel spin!

What sort of tyres does Rory use? They seem to grip very well off the line
