Washing engine!!!??

How i wash my engine?To put it clean.What i need to protect?

distributor, battery, air filter (if it's cone type) and sparkplugs oh plus fuse boxes.

Other than that, just hose away after applying detergent.

Wrap the above with carrier/plastic bags. Let the engine run!
Spray a cleaner like 'GUNK engine degreaser' then hose down the bay. avoid jetting the rocker cover as it will make it flake

Ths mates .
Like you can see its in need, and it be my 1 time i do something like that.
it will be the 1 time i wash my honda.

All i do is jack up the drivers side of the car so water can run out from around the plugs. If not after a couple of days you will notice a miss fire from water in the plug holes.
