I just wondering what you people do when you having this problem.
Before 2 months i changed the vtec solenoid gasket because of leaks i know that this is a standard problem in the solenoid but i changed it with oem gasket and after one month again leaks what you people do to avoid that? I have to tell you that we already tried some glue the same they do with the head - block gasket between. Sorry for bad English.

Yes my mechanic is Honda/Acura Specialist no wrong from him. I asked a lot of people with Hondas all say classic problem but i want to know if anyone know something else that here in Greece isn't known... Thank you for answering Darragh K and for trying to help me out mate.

:secret: Guy diys it should be three 10mm bolts unplug the solenoid, take the bolts out (lefty losey righty thighty) then take the gasket out and use some brake cleaner on the solenoid valve and the head make sure you clean up the both areas really good and make sure they are both dry and absolutely no oil on neither side where the gasket will meet (head and the valve) put it back together DRY with a new gasket and tighten the bolt hand tight till you feel them just touch than a little hair after that.

I'm sure you will be a pro after that you should be able to anything after this!! :blinx:

i changed it on a friends car an it was still leaking.....but it wasnt the vtec gasket that was leaking it was the cam cap an dizzy O ring that needed to be replaced check these 2 it should solve your problem

I already used Hondabond thanks mate!
Hmmm i didn't change the O ring i did some search and i found 2 oem parts the one has screen and the other no... when i will get out the vtec solenoid i will see what i have but which is better? I also read that changing the gasket with Acura's NSX 1991 gasket is better! Is that true?
I uploaded some pics the first is the gasket the left one is oem jdm B16A and the right one is from NSX and the other two pics is with the O ring one with the screen and the other without it. I am waiting for some opinions mates ;)

I have heard this is a problem, but I have yet to experience this myself.

Didn't know the NSX solenoid pattern were so similar or the B's. It does look like the NSX gasket is thicker over the B's. If its thicker, it may help better seal preventing oil from "leaking" as everyone says it does :p.

Just be clean at doing this, dirt could be a cause of a leak after a fresh install. Hondabond can also be used to help better the seal.

Good luck, post up your findings and solutions, it would be helpful for when I finally have this happen to me...lol

Tama666 bad news one mate from here simauto send me a message that the NSX solenoid from Acura NSX 1991 is not compatible with B16A2 only with B16A1 i don't know for B18C,B16B and others that's bad for me because i got happy for a while that i have founded the half problem of it :p Anyway i hope is the dizzy O ring the problem and to change it and one dragster mechanic here in Greece told me to use Hondabond which i already did it but not to use a lot ,only to cover the corners. I hope to solve this problem because with the leaks i smell the oil on VTECing although the performance of the car is perfect(i don't know if the leaks affect the performance at all)
