Are your getting a speed reading on the dash?
Are you using any o2 sensors? If you have disconnected them, one or both, are they shorting out? I had this happen and once fixed vtec was back on.
Also, check to be sure all connections are solid at the wiring harness.

on my apexi power fc sensor check, it does say o2. I didnt no that the lamba sensor would make the vtec not work??

It won't stop vtec working. Was the power fc you got plug and play? or did you have to use a jumper harness to plug in to your engine loom?

bare with me while i try explain this,ha, on my vtec solenoid(i have a spare one) one has a presure switch im lead to beleive and the one that is on engine has a block where the presure switch is on other solenoid. im running a b16a2. is the presure switch sumwhere else on these engines. doesnt seem to be a plug for it so im guessing the one with the block off is the correct sloenoid for this engine?? wondering if thats been mixed up and thats why im not getting vtec. sorry if my explination is abit confusing,ha.
