Volks TE37's Colours.. *New Twist, powercoat or paint!*


Nothing against Rota's, they have their place in the market.
They are just not cut out for me with how I abuse my wheels and how sticky the tires I run. I got rid of my 949 wheels because of the same reason, they break. Kinda scary being out on track with sticky tires and big brakes with a wheel known to break...every turn is a pucker moment.
 
i can imagine mate, can't be a good feeling and we always say about "track confidence" ;) - i've had a set of rota slipstreams, looked nice and like you say for every day road use they are fine. on a track car maybe not, certainly not on a race car like yours.

Exactly...

Slipstreams are a good wheel with the proper tires and normal brakes. I would use them on the street, normal driving and such. They look proper too! Spoons would be better tho! :p
 
There is also the silver with clear coat...rare.
I was about to order these for the hatchback, backed off to preserve the fenders front and rear.

what is that bottom colour :O although flat black at the top looks amazing !
 
last one is that silver I spoke about, polished metal with a clear coat on top, not really a color.

Flat black [satin] is very cool on these TE37's.
 
Agreed. Not sure what I'm going do with my centre caps though..
 
Bling caps. leave them off! TE37 SL's dont even come with them.
 
well its been a weekend. old tyres were removed.

some tyres were put back on again, and the wheels are still white. they could be staying this way LOL

how come you might be leaving them the colour they already are ??:D
