US Popular Sport Teams in the Old World?

I know Soccer is the biggest sport over there, In my Country too (Costa Rica). But living in the US I was wondering if American Football, Baseball, & Basketball was big over there? Also what are your Favorite US teams??
Baseball + No other than the New York Yankees :bow:
Football + The Dallas Cowboys :nice:
Basketball + Detroit Pistons "not a huge fan though" Just playoffs!
Hockey + is like Disney on Ice mixed with UFC "sucks"

I like watching Barcelona & Manchester United..:D

I don't know about European countries but Japan LOVES baseball.

Basketball.. lakers (KOBE) is GOD.:bow:

Yuck the Fankees.. Just a bunch of over paid pretty boys and roid heads..:angry:

And UFC is so much fun to watch! Especially the last event, that card had three fights that would sell tickets.

And Tico the last time I checked the Yanks haven't been able to win the World Series since 2000, and I bet you'll still be a diehard fan when they lose again this year.
