Don't know if anyone can help but i have recently put a Z6 intake manifold on my D14A4 along with the fuel rail and throttle body. The only thing which isn't from the Z6 is the injectors which i took from a 1.5 civic instead of the 1.6 which the fuel rail etc is from. The car runs...but does not idle correctly.
Does anybody have a wiring diagram or anything which may help me to get my car idling properly again.
cheers for any help.

my friend had this problem with a d16y7 coupe..using z6 manifold etc.use new gaskets , not 100% but the trottle body sensors may read differntly , my friend had a problem with the map semsor.

and if i remember correctly a few plugs were different??
try adjusting the idle with adjusting screw also.

whats the idle like? bogging? jumping up and down? too low? too high? it can be a series of variables taking its part in the cause.

Did you re-use your d14a4 throttle body?

No, I used the z6 throttle body and was ticking over at 1.5grand and hunting up and down....just above and below 1 and a half thousand revs. Now it is ticking at just under 1500 , but seems like it doesn't want to move below that amount of revs, as when coming down the gears, the car reaches 1500,then begins to 'kangaroo'. Hope this makes some sort of sense. Thanks.

Ok there lies your problem. You need to reuse your d14 throttle body due to the rotary idle valve on it. There different to the IACV found on the d16z6 so the d14a4 ecu cannot control it. Use the throttle pulley off the z6 T.B on the d14 T.B and will also need throttle cable. You can leave the z6 IACV in place not connected or block it off with a plate. Make sure you have no vac leaks anywhere.
