Im in the process of rebuilding my Y2 gearbox, the cars only used for trackdays and I would like to race it one day in the near future. But at the moment im driving to circuits so I'm after a uprated clutch which makes the car still drivable. Can anyone recommend a good brand which isn't going to cost the earth? And still be realible under extreme driving?

oem dc2 one is more than enough have a new one in my dc2 track car and its great

Would have to agree. OEM DC2

A 200hp B16 is not going to have that much of an increased torque output and the OEM B18C ones are plenty for mild tuned B18C's so would have thought it to be perfect for a tuned b16.

Or get an Exede organic replacment. Which are slightly better than standard.

I wouldn't see the need for anything more.

Hi just to regards about the b18c clutch wont fit a y21 box..
It wont fit the input shaft..
Wat about a lighter flywheel as well?

Are you sure about that I thought that all B series clutches were the same fitment?

The y2 is a cable operated clutch.
The input shaft size is different between the cable and hydro boxes.

So the ITR will not fit unless the gearbox is changed for a hydro one.

We have a range of clutches that will fit in stock, and as said, oem Honda is hard to beat on a nasp build.

I have OEM itr dc2 clutch on my b18c running 190@ the wheels. It's covered about 20k miles 5 Nurburgring trips (approx 60 laps) a track day at snetterton and lots of launches and hard driving with absolutely no issues what so ever! :)

OEM clutch for the win!!!
