upgrades for EJ9 track project

Hi all,


I've got a ‘96 EJ9 that going to be a track slag and I need many parts for it…..but I want cheapy cheap, like eBay China/Alibaba but cheaper haha. Can’t justify the cost of fancy brands so I'm not interested in £400 exhausts etc.

Just thought I’d try here before I hit up eBay china for some quality ling-long branded parts and go trawling the scrapyards

D16Z6 inlet manifold and necessary bits to fit on a D14
Short shift lever
Cheap Coilovers
Steering wheel boss
Whale ***** induction kit (ill make it fit)
Aftermarket Exhaust & manifold
Window net & fixings
Front splitter of some kind
Some 15” or 16” alloys (would prefer VTI fanblades but whatever’s round, cheap and the correct size)
EK4 262mm front brakes
Front & rear strutbraces
Aerial delete trim piece
 
Bumping. Still needing everything on my list although ebay china is coming up trumps on price for a few things.

Still need a D16Z6/Y8 inlet manifold and throttle body for conversion though :)
 
Wondering if you'll pick up a smokey b16 cheap?
Suppose the rest of the conversion is still dollar.
 
ali express for replica stuff mate... cheap as chips and tbh the quality of some of the stuff off it is amazing for the price you pay. Half of it is the genuine stuff being sold out the back door of the factory in plain boxes.
 
I have a short shifter for sale can do cheap. Its literally a copy of a oem ek9 one. I may also have some spare poly bushes including shifter bushes.

Did wonder that but part of me feels like its a waste spending money on a smoky motor. Plus I might start like it then......

Aye that's where Ive been looking. Sometimes you cant argue with the stuff that China makes for the quality. Except the BMW E36 rear strutbrace I bought that you could bend with your hands...that was junk.

I have a FEELS exhaust system that got a decat welded into it. Fits onto D series manifold as I run it on my EJ9 when it had a d14 and d16 in it. Also got a set of coilover springs if you want them aswell?

i have a plm toda rep manifold, spoon cat back, decay, and short shiftert
 
Got a custom exhaust I had made for my EJ9 when it still had the D14. £100 + postage if you're interested.
 
Got a skunk 2 catback and 262mm front calipers? from breaking the EK4 I have a breaking thread on here....
 
Sorry guys, forgot I made this thread.

Had an expensive month so I have absolutely zero cash at the mo so anything that requires spending on the EJ9 has been dropped down the list in favour of free mods (weight reduction etc).

Sorry all. I have no money so cant buy anything right now.
