Looking to replace my old time again and got new rims to go with them too looking at 245/40/17 on my new enkei rims

Been stuck with a few tyres which one would give me the best grip, and have stiff side walls, im looking at the tyres in these orders.

1. Michelin Pilot Super Sports
2. Bridgestone Re002
3. Bridgestone S001
4. Bridgestone Potenza S-04 Pole Position
5. Good Year Assymetric 2
6. Toyo Proxes 1

any feed back or comment about any of the tyres would be great. Leaning most to option 1 and 2 atm

I've had the Toyo Proxes before. They were a great tire. I should mention that I worked at a tire shop, so I got them at a discount price. I remember them retailing for about $180 a piece, but I could be wrong.

No experience with the other tires.

I read somewhere that the re002 is a totally different class from the others that i've mention this means that the re002 should pull more G's than the others correct? Perhaps I might just get the re002, then im not so sure cause they said because its made in indo/thailand the build quality isnt so good...

Proxes are olddddd now , nothing has changed in time with them but bang for buck there decent all round tyres imo.

In the dry my yoko spec2's are brilliant , and also good on track.. But in the wet they are horrific

Out of those I would take the BS RE002, The RE01 was a great perfromance tyre and as far as I know this is the updated version. I notice alot of imported Honda's came with these on aswell, seem popular in Japan! For road use and the price of T1R's in 15" there a good tyre, but feel a bit soft and "wallowy" with the very soft sidewall.
