a mate contacted me this week and mentioned that he had been emailed regarding writing an article about the type r.basicly he has the last (uk) fn2 and they know whe has had a dc2 and a ep3 so they thaught he would be the man for the job.he mentioned he would like to get one model of every typr R's there from new to old and get some pictures of them all at our local honda (mansfield).

so heres a few ,shame we couldnt get ALL of them  but i dont know anyone with a NSX and arch was busy unfortunatley.

there was a professional photographer there so i cant wait to see what she has took 8) ,the article will be going into the magazine that honda send out to all that have baught new or used cars from them or in the showrooms also,we will all get a copy for ourselves :D

big thanks to mansfield honda for letting us use thier car park, and making lots of cups of coffee to keep us warm.

theres a girl on civiclife who has an nsx typer in hampshire area :O

nice, cool seeing them all lined up together but the question is.....

what would win on 3 laps of a track :nerv: lol

Kool shoot , could have done with better weather :p

some very nice cars there :) nive seeing the different generatiosn of type r's and how they have advanced :D

Looks good !can safely say the ek9 is still the best looking :p.

Question: why's the crz there?thought they only done 1.5hybrid?

i've never seen a Euro R Accord with these tail lights before, which chassis is this? We have the CL1 and CL7 chassis' here in Jamaica but this one above is new to me.

its not a euro r its a uk spec atr ;)

Was really tricky getting these together, the Accord and DC5 were pretty hard to get.

I had to re-clean the car when i got there!!

Hopefully see the write up about Type R's in the Honda brochure/Magazine shortly :)

I like the picture at the end the most the one with the cars set out in a u shape.

as GAV said its an accord type r - persoanlly i like the euro R alot more it actually looks like it deserves an R badge.

it wasnt hard ,i did all the work with kiri :nice: i only had a week to sort it out with him ,i had alined up a fd2 but he couldnt make it unfortunatly.

Niiiice!

Would've been even better if there was an NSX, FD2 and a JDM DC2 there and if they were all Championship White! :O

I know they are or were or have made one but dont know if its been done.

they havn't made one and never will, the whole idea of a hybrid is low emitions andd economy which type R is not...

Spoon however is another story...
It is the closest the crz will ever be to a type R
