I've also been researching turboing and you are paying big money for what you get at race-tech. Why not buy a second hand evo 9 turbo (after all that is what you will be getting from race-tech â albeit reconditioned), upgrade to evo 9 injectors, buy a race-tech turbo manifold, intercooler from the internet and pipe it all up yourself at a fraction of the cost. In addition to this you will obviously require a fuel pump, again this can be sources from an evo 9 or you can buy an aftermarket fuel pump and modifications to your sump. Once you have the car up and running take it to race-tech to get it mapped as they are very good at mapping without a doubt. I initially priced a turbo kit from race-tech and then discovered what a huge profit margin it is supplied at. The choice is entirely the individual's but this is what I will be doing.
