recently fitted 2 toyo r888 to the front of my teg find them a bit noise like humming sometimes anyone else experience this? pressures are all correct.

They are known to hum and sing a bit, yes. They're not designed for comfort. :) The tread pattern and ridiculously stiff sidewalls are probably a factor here.
The sound also varies between cars.

yes, this tires are really noisy, firstly it was disturbing, but later i just get used to it :)

That's what happens with so much rubber on the road! :nice:

i thought si just wanted a second opinion .. great tyre once theyre heated up :)

What do you think of the 888's? Have you pushed them hard yet!

Iv ran R888's for years now. Yes they hum alot, I notice it alot in my stripped, caged 9. Give off a similar to warn wheel Bering noise but nothing to worry about

Hand down though the best dry weather tyre out there in my opinion and my god do the impress on track! Breaking and cornering on another level!

Just be carefull when pressing on with just R888's on the front as the Back will get very "wavy" as the grip difference will be massive. Especialy in a tail happy dc2. Had first hand experience of this :-0

they are pretty good in fairness in the wet i dont think they shed water quick enough all the time but in the dry theyre class. if your doing a few track days in your car = winner!! but for an every day grippy every condition tyres i think some of the new toyos like the t1rs or r1rs are a better bet.

Haha toyo dash bangers! New track tyre

noise starts at 70km/h Can't stand them for a long time in the highway after some time. But hey, the grip is superb if combined with good suspension

might have a look into yokohama pradas or r1rs to see what theyre like .
