Thought its time i should do one of these threads as i finally got my bonnet and lip sprayed this week. although i am not very happy with the result so it is going back to the shop next week.....

This is my 3rd honda now after selling my much loved EG6 SiR II i'm now back to an EK4 again.

This time its an EK4 VTI-S and it is registered as a VTI-S in the log book and is listed as having a B16A2 as most are listed as D16's

here are some arty type photos i took today after cleaning the whole car, polishing it, and used a paint seal aswell. also used some bumper care from Autoglym to black out the little strips on the bumper and aslo black out the tire walls.

I think the car Looks Awesome in black

here is a quick spec of the VTI-S.

Engine wise:
Comptech header from the usa.
High flow sports cat
Tanabe Super Medalion Hyper cat back exhuast including mid pipe.
AEM V1 Induction kit..
Skunk2 Pro Series Inlet manifold

it has been lowered on a set of Spax lowering springs these have pretty much ruined the handling lol, but they will soon be changed over to a full coilover setup...maybe BC racing or Mesiter R not sure how much i can spend yet.

It has also got a Full Jordan interior... soon to be on custom lowered seat rails.
I am currently runnig 17" Black racing alloys that i sprayed black myself...however i am on the look out for a set of 16"s

notice the 3rd runner on the exhaust, it doesn't look striaght like the others....and i thought comptech were a good company.....this is a very poorly designed header...it looks like its 2" bore aswell it looks tiny compared to my old feels manifold.

Never heard of that, I know they messed up the V5s on some VTIs that were infact VTI-S'. So a lot of people are driving round illegally?

Car looks good anyway :nice:

looks nice mate :) the jordan interior in a non jordan is something different, actually quite suits it :)

Nice car mate... It looks mean...

But i preferred your Feel's eg!! It was unique with all the Feel's mods:blabla:

Car looks great buddy and good on you for making the paint shop re-paint!

The EG6 is in good hands :woot:

looks good.hope to see you at a few meets this year.

Definately mate, need some more parts really to turn her into my own first..

+1 how did you get the badges off the seats?

Ah, well the seats were ordered from honda as they didn't come in this car stock ( sure you know ) one of the previous owners bought them New, and i believe you have the option to specify if you wanted the badges....they look bettter without i think... rarer too.

Trust me i prefered the EG6 aswell mate i have never been in a car that felt so connected, the eg handled as if it had a roll cage and seem welded chassis, but i could not afford to keep it and also i now have a car that i am able to make my own...

myabe a few feels parts also.... :)

Good luck to your project mate!

Nice to see yet another VTI-S on here, my log book said that it was a D16 but a quick call to the DVLA and a correction on the log book, i got it back showing that it was now a B16. Gorgous looking car anyway :)
