Time attack ek4

Great build up Elmo! Looks like a fun car to drive. Seems like JStoneRacing seem to be doing alot of cool cars for time attack. Been looking at a build up of the white EP3 from JStoneRacing, they have gone pretty crazy with the rebuild for it! :)

how do you find the fd and gearset combo ? you not find your runnin out of revs in lot of sections and havin to upshift more than youd like ?

Looking forward to seeing this when it's done dude! it's gona be a monster

After round 4 I got the car down to Trackday Performance for a bit more work

Here Robbie had it on the dynapack mapping the new motec M4

as you can see from the graph he got a massive improvement with just the ecu on a standard engine!!

The thicker line's are the MoTeC and the thinner the spoon ecu

I wasnt happy with the brake's from day 1 so I got TDP to do something with them while it was getting the MoTeC fitted

AP racing 310mm disks and Brembo calipers :nice:

As we speak JStoneRacing are also making custom wishbone's to give the car a few degree's of caster. We also fitted Race Serie's roll centre adjuster's, supplied by Tuning Factory.

Trackday Performance are fitting a coil pack system to the car as well instead of the distributor. This should allow the car to run a bit better and hopefully let it break the 240bhp mark!!!

We changed the 4.7 final drive back to a 4.4 with the ATS gear's too. This was because when the car had the original B16a the gear's along with the 4.7 were a perfect combination but as the car got faster and faster with the engine work the gears and 4.7 started working against me. There's a KAZZ diff gone in there too replacing the stock ITR diff.

Since I saw the white crow, direzza sponsored ek9 I loved the paint job so we are doing something simaler, I'm looking forward to seeing it finished

Bring on the 2010 season :drive:

235 bhp n/a B18, respect to you my friend! Bet your giving those K20 boys plenty to worry about!
