Had a quick look at the fixings and couldn't get it to budge is there a trick of were to pull etc or a hidden fixing? any help appreciated, cheers...

what I mean is, some folks tilt the rear spoiler slightly by adding a few washers, however I can't figure out how to get kine off, have undone all the fixings I can find but it doesn't budge...

You have to seperate the spoiler from the base plate. Its screwed and double sided tape that holds it down. Id heat it first, as it could crack. I was practically swinging off an old one when I fitted it to my Jordan, and something went on it, couldnt see it though. You can get those adjustable angle brackets for the spoiler but they are so over priced its not even funny. You probably can do it with some washers etc, but not too sure about how many etc.

It'll be the tape that's doing it then, will have another blast...

rubber from curtains will do the trick ive done it to mine works and tilts well:nice:

It's weird though because not all EK9 spoilers are stuck with adhesive, My first one was a right pain, used a bit of heat and a gym card. And the next spoiler I got just unbolted. I researched this before, some people's are stuck and some aren't, must be a PFL or FL thing or year of manufacture.

Just had a quick a look at your other posts and am I right in thinking its for an EK3 with standard spoiler? If so then there will be no tape, the top part of the spoiler will just unclip although it is very tight! When I first did mine I just undid all the obvious bolts and then fed some washers in with the top part still clipped down although it is easier to remove it completely first. I used a combination of rubber grommets and metal washers so as to give a bit more protection against cracking. I also only slightly raised the tip of the spoiler but I did also raise the part that attaches to the roof a little as well, otherwise you end up with a bit of a gap which I don't like but if you choose to do that be a little careful because if you raise that part too much it will clip the roof when you open the boot

No problem, let me know if you need any more help with it and I'll see what I can do to help out.

Heres a couple of pics of how mine looks doing it my method

As you can see, its not a massive tilt but I wanted to keep a fairly oem look with mine
