tidy up clean look

is your front slam panel tatty and rusty its so easy to do and the after affects are amazing it completely makes the car look so much cleaner could even be a nice little mod with a change of colour disagree??

TOOLS:
spray paint and primer
pliers to get the grommets out underneath
a sander i used a palm sander but each to there own
lots of news paper and masking tape
rachet and socket 10mm to remove front lights and rad stay
i removed the wings 1st bolt just to be careful and masked under the wing we dont want no over spray
once the surface of the slam panel is clean and rust free its time for prep work your either ready to prime and then spray with your desired colour i went for the easy option and sprayed straight on with my hard wearing paint.. NOW SIT BACK AND ADMIRE A CLEAN LOOKING FRONT END

Good work mate,I did the same to mine but I smoothened out all the extra holes so it looks a lot neater

nice m8 if you look in my album i crashed the car the other weekend and the buyers waiting for me to get it sorted so i was abit rushed for time but thanks ill bare that in mind for the next one ive got ek b184 turbo'd lined up ready to buy

thanks man keep watching in my threads got a ej9 b18 boost build coming along very nicely.. ill do this again but with my ej and like ek4 nav said im going to take a bit more time and smooth the front panel off so no holes will update when done.

Glad i seen this! The slam panel is the only part of my car that looks tatty! Il be doing this when i get chance cheers mate
