Thinking of Engine conversion/ turbo

Hey guys , very new to this site.

In short i have a civic Ej9 1.4 illusion with bucket seats and pods ect.
and i want to either put a b16/18 in there and turbo it or just turbo it.

How much am i looking to spend? where can i get this sort of work done?
i live in south london ( surrey )

ID have thought you might as well buy a standard EK4 mate! the amount of money it'll cost you to swap one in, might as well buy one lol

If I was you, I'd leave it alone, just keep it clean.

For a B18cR + Gearbox conversion your probably looking at £1500 pound I'd imagine inc. labour(not sure of that price as I'm in Ireland).

The problem then is that your still running a stock suspension and brake set up which won't do the conversion justice.

My advice would be to keep your money, maybe save a bit more and buy a SIR/VTI... Much better chassis and brake set-up to start with and plenty of mods available. Plus you could always drop a B18cR in later and it would cost a lot less if you p/x your b16a and you don't have to swap gearboxes.

Plus the SIR/VTI set up would be able to handle the B18cR engine much better...
