TEGIWA Manifolds B/K Series - COMING SOON!!!

anything would make more power than the supersprint on a b20 !
supersprint is too small imo.

what would you choose, 3 hp or 25nm?

a dyno is a tool you see where you loose where you gain and compare.

if you gained 3hp at top and another 15 hp in midrange then rmf is gold over supersprint the same is with torque if you lost 25nm at top and a ton across whole power band then thats bad.

time on the track-race is what counts in the end .

I'm a little confused after some reading. Can anyone clarify:

For application on a stock B16B (Civic Type R EK9), which one of the following headers I need?

TEGIWA EXHAUST MANIFOLD HEADER INTEGRA TYPE R B18C

TEGIWA 4-2-1 EXHAUST MAINFOLD HEADER HONDA CIVIC VTI B16A

Further, it states that to install this header you will need a CAT/DECAT that has a 2.5" collector flange. A stock EK9 does have 2,5" right?

What parts do I also need to buy in addition, gasket for b16a2 or b18c, do I need exhaust flanges? And what about the rear bracket fitment some talk about? I want i to fit on the EK9 perfectly....I hope someone can clarify, I'm a bit worried.

@TEGIWA, can you PM me the discount code please
Best regards,
Johnny

yup seems you are right on that tegiwa
the dyno graph on the link looks straight.

i'm buying one of tegiwa headers this week and i hope it to beat my rmf narrow !!

Bit of a revival as I am on the market for a Tegiwa manifold. But this is a bit false as that header test did not include a Tegiwa manifold at all. It was a US toda teplica that they used.

Also I am still looking for the Dyno graphs as the links don't work? To add to that what happened to the rest of the manifold comparisons that were due?

What revision are these manifolds on now? Last I heard they were on their 3rd generation with majority of faults fixed and supposedly a slight revision to improve midrange from when it was tested against the Mugen 4-1.

Hi @KieranEG6 , sorry we missed this one. I'll get those links fixed ASAP, meanwhile if you want the graphs just email me on matt@tegiwaimports.com and I'll send them over, they're in PDF format.

We were going to test them against a few different manifold but practicalities meant we haven't really, the 98 spec was the benchmark and we beat it by quite a way. The headers have a great rep for power and reliability so we won't be testing them any further, customers have already done that for us in a lot of cases :)

These are on the 6th or 7thth batch now, they've only had one revision since they were released which was for the bolt pattern on the flange, that's the only fault they've ever had and it was sorted about 2-3 years ago now I think! I'm not sure where you heard that from, we tested the prototype over 5 years ago on my old UK DC2 which had a Mugen 4-1 on it, this was before they went into production and before the design was finalised.

Thanks, Matt
