Yeah I was thinking some samco style Pipe from the intake to the airbox would be beneficial as obviously the B16 pipe needed to fit this is a smaller diameter than the B18 throttle body if you have a B18 Swap, Which I do! Making the intake pipe a VERY tight fit on the TB!
 
Think Tegiwa plan to make a "samco style" intake pipe for B16 (EK airbox).
 
They need to make a carbon fiber intake pipe that would look good. I think i'll be getting one of these carbon airbox soon hope they have plenty in stock.
 
i have a amuse airbox similar to this,this is how mine sits..although its not a b series it might help to show how they can look:

Anyone know IN diameter of b16 and b18 intake pipe? (throtle body to intake)
 
Do you have made some changes on the airbox (size, etc...) or these are exactly the same like Mugen ?
 
I have a dc2, and dc2 air box with air resonator removed and a cold air intake same as this.

My setup also isnt worth 300 pound and probably gains me the same power
 
That's not true, unless you have a velocity stack in the airbox at the entry of the piping towards the throttle body and at the entry of the intake piping behind the bumper. The velocity stack have a big contribution to the power gain.

Nevertheless, your mod is a really nice one since it costs almost nothing but does free up some power :)
