Hi guys just wondered, building up a ek4 as a road car but race style and wondered if I could run DC2 shocks on front and ek9 on the rear with ek9 springs or lowering springs all round and if it would handle and perform well? All ideas and feedback im thankful for cheers.

EK9 shocks all round would be a good upgrade with a decent set of springs such as eibach or spoon. I run 6TWO1 coilovers and they are pretty awesome, gives me the choice of having it stiff setup or a bit softer for a daily driver.

Know of any ek9 shocks for sale? Can't find any anywhere

EK9 dampers all round with decent springs would be a great upgrade. They pop up for sale on this forum every now and again. Brand new they're about £120 per damper, IIRC.

Thanks! If you see any up for sale would appreciate it if you dropped me a message, cheers

I have a set of 4 ek9 shocks and springs that I'm not using

Look to be in good condition, no visible leaks etc, covered around 130,000 kilometres (around 80000 miles)

They all in working order? If so how much you looking for? Thanks

@Saqib I do have a set but I won't sell until I'm happy with my coilovers. I have a sneaky suspicion they will be too low for my liking.
