I have a B16A and a Jackson Racing supercharger and I am doing a complete build what is the best setup i can use to get the most power but maintain reliability... I was thinking to sleeve the motor and use the JUNE stoker kit... that all i got so far any suggestion??

Or does anyone know of a better setup i can use??
Thanks

You are dead on target...resleeve w/closed deck and stroke that baby. Lower compression is better, to prevent detonation...and allows more boost.
Lower compression will give you a larger window to operate within, a larger delta in other words. [let me know if I need to expand on that]

You are going to love the SC, if you build it like I think you are, you will be able to use a larger pulley for the SC to get higher boost from from it, that is always good if you know what I mean.

But yes, you are on track to a reliable build on boost with a SC.:nice:

I am most likely going to go with the JUNE stroker kit but before I make that decision is there any other Kits that I should consider?

I am going to get the T-sleeves form AEBS.

Have you ran the motor already with the S.C. kit? If you have, do you like it?

nope never have I am just starting from scratch. have you had any experience with SCs on Hondas?

nope but ive been considering the addition of the extra hp it offers! It should be a fun car to drive... I know they dont end up being blistery fast but fun :nice:

From what I have heard and seen at the track (road course) they seem to run pretty well against Porsches. Right now I am driving a SPEC-944 and just going to mix it up a bit and get in a well built Honda!

they also run Miatas out on the track and when you see a little supercharged miata on the ass of a Porsche GT-3 RS it takes more then just driver skill to accomplish that.

Just make sure you get it mapped right and the Fueling doe right as ive got a Charger on mine thats running well under power due to a piss poor map !!

Running it on a B16B though !

What is your hp goal? Even with all that work you will not pass 280whp, as long as you are ok with that then you are on the right track. If you wan't more power then that consider a turbo setup instead.

I already got the supercharger so im just going to stick with that.. So thats the max HP you think I can get?? I was thinking to aim for around 330hp. What do you think?

as mentioned above, you cannot make more than 280whp which is approximately 330 at the flywheel, and thats if you use the LHT intercooler.

280whp should be enough to have some fun on the track.
Get an LSD if you don't have it already.

Thanks for all the info! and I do plan to buy an LSD. What else would you all recommend I do for the build?

sorry to jump in likethat... but you wont exceed 240whp! i have participated building two JRSC setups:

first 11.8:1 cr with endyns pistons, ported head, ITR valves, dual springs, itr intake cam, gsr ex cam, ported manifold, kamikaze header, fi60 exhaust, flywheel, ... M/I injection, with ectune... 220 whp

second: b16b pistons in B16A (12:1?), ported head, ITR valves, dual springs on exhaust, itr intake cam, gsr ex cam, ported manifold, kamikaze header, fi60 exhaust, flywheel, ... M/I injection, with ectune... 230 whp

both setups in B16A2 block, unsleeved,...

you need a realy good tuner if you want to keep this setup alive.. you will loose power if you drop compression and gain power by increasin it...and that needs careful tuning..

i will post some graphs with B16A2 JRSC and B18C6 JRSC projects in few days.. when our company forum is back online..

cheers! Sparx
