anybody on here have installed a sunroof on there car??? really thinkin about it
 
no way should this type of butchery be carried out on an EK9!!!!

buy an ek4 with a sunroof if you want one!!
 
haha yeah but sunroofs are soo nice, especially like a big massive half the size of the roof. was thinkin the roof would probably need some extra bracing for the weight maybe. thought somebody on here might have had a price on it
 
jus cut out a hole and stick in some perspex and sure youd be sorted haha (but dont do it lol)
 
Aftermarket sunroof cant be good especially if you clean the car with the jet wash, you'll have leaks all over the place, I got a sun roof on my ek4 its good when the weathers niceand all but i dont think I would install one if it wouldnt bring it
 
I had an aftermarket sunroof on my last civic coupe... Like anything if its done right with quality parts there should be no issues.
 
il swap you my EK4 roof panel for your EK9 one then u can have the sunroof you want and il get rid of mine like i want! lol you gota pay for the work tho, so its probably cheaper to just buy a aftermarket one!
 
stupid idea for a ek9! each to their own though..but why butcher an ek9 and add unnecessary weight
 
I dont like sunroofs, Never use them becouse of the crappy weather in scotland. IMO dont do it...
 
bad idea if you wanted a sunroof why didnt you buy a vti!! also they're heavy as fook!! :))
 
yeaa, but sure for me its not all about weight n goin fast i like to cruise. my car is an ek4 but no sunroof. id swap with neil if he wanted. or i could cut a hole in the roof and rap some seran wrap around it!
