SunAuto Hot Earth kit

Is there anyone out there who has one of these earthing kits on their car who could give me some pointers on how it is meant to go on?

I managed to get a second hand one quite cheap on ebay but came with no fitting instructions and the seller just breaks cars so didn't have any photos of it fitted or any idea of how it was attached.
I put it on by best guess (which I'm pretty certain isn't right) but on doing a trackday two days later a couple of gremlins made themselves apparent, which might be completely unrelated but seems a bit of coincidence. Also the ECU voltage on my apexi RSM is reading lower than normal whilst the car is being driven, but that could also be because i flattened the battery by leaving my lights on earlier in the day. But regardless I think I'm gonna take it back off until I know how it's meant to be fitted.
 
The earthing kits are more show than functional.

The vehicle comes with ample earth's and if you had earthing problems youd se them as odd electrical behaviour.

e.g
ghosting indicators
possessed central locking.
 
Thanks No Fear. It's not quite as crazy as that one. Basically it's in two parts, one is has two 10mm eyelets with a 12mm eyelet in between them. The other has maybe six or seven eyelets with one or two of them being 12mm and the rest 10mm.

I hooked up the shorter part to the battery negative, the alternator and the chassis. The longer I attached to the battery negative, inlet manifold, dizzy, starter motor, vtec solenoid and a couple of eyelets to the body.

Can't really see why it would cause me problems as everything I've attached to is earthed via the engine block any way, just seems a bit of a coincidence.

because of the different shape and size of eyelets and the different lengths of cable between them it's obviously meant to go on in a specific way. It's just not very obvious working out what that way is :s
 
Bollocks to buying one of these, make this a piece of piss.
