hey peeps quick question

is B18c5 JDM??? or usdm??

i got engine swap in Sep 08 from Icetronix them prix said its JDM

but when i went online on WIKI page it states to be USDM!!!:nono:

anyone knows what im talking about:((

my spec is
Motor b18c5
Tranny s80 98spec whit LSD
DC decat
DC 4 branch
skunk2 full exhaust
V2 induction kit

thats all for now
 
it doesn't matter google the specs on it same thing I'm pretty sure
 
JDM engines have no numbers in the end, B18C, B16A, H22A, F20C and so on....
 
any difrence in Power??? .
bcz i heard engines are same specs just different ECU??

USDM integra type r motor.
 
Some people say the difference isnt noticeable but I have to say from personal experience the jap version feels quickest

i went on my mates teg 98 JDM and i dint see any big difference to be honest with u

i got induction kit
4 brach
skunk2 pro intake
all the **** engine needs 2 bread

a we will ago someone posted up on here a pic of and b18 ek9 and was goin to buy it think it was leeK9 and eventually found out it was a b18c . it had the same rocker cover was in ireland. could be the same engine .

yea that was me

i was going to look at a ek9 with b18 engine but it turned out that it was a 1.8 vti civic engine, the inlet manifold is the biggest give away as to wethers its jap or not

if they gave you the skunk2 inlet manifold at the same time as the engine they were obviously trying to cover up the wank'ness of the engine, and them inlet manifolds are known to whistle like fook and deave your head

anto ek9 also looked at the car and he said she has more hits than a 30 year old retired pornstar

and jesus get rid of that rocker cover, TENZO R(etarded) ftl

man thanks for lovely comment i got rocker for free when i bought them tenzor alloys but i would love to get original rocker (red)

second things is i bought that skunk2 PRO intake
all Icetronix done is got me b18c5 with S80 LSD 4.7 final thats all man

I know where there is a brand new genuine type r red rocker cover for sale if your interested drop me a pm
 
Like eveyone else said, it a U.S motor, but from what i felt, the JDM motor feels a bit stronge.
