Okay so i have done abit of work on the car so far and got a fair fe parts for it.
It's getting there with the kswap, just waiting for it to go for a cage now and can get it painted.
So far the headlight loom, fuse box and brake lines are tucked, started to smooth the engine bay and weld up a few of the holes. The fuel filter will be tucked aswel.

Same here! I'm really looking forward to it being finished now iv seen the engine in the car!
 
Fingers cross this is being picked up for its roll cage to be made Tuesday now! I can't wait.
Engine bay is nearly all smoothed off now. It'll be ready for painting once back from the cage being done.
Hopefully sorted myself some tidy seats to keep me held in on the track too! :nice:
 
The teg has just been collected for it's cage.
I already can't wait for it too come back!
It's having a 6point custom cage with cross in rear, harness bars and single door bars.
I finished welding all the holes in the engine bay and grinding them back the tuck is all done. Just got too wait for it too come back from it's cage and can get painting! :D

Yes the plan is to go next yeah, can only be bigger & better. Also a friend is being sponsored by the main sponsor of the event... So i almost have to attend

Okay so haven't got much too update. Won't be having the car back until the first week of the new year now, bit gutted as I thought I could get the interior and engine bay painted before Christmas but no bother, I'm sure the cage will be worth the wait!

Went too pick up a dc5 gearbox and DSS kswap shafts last week so nearly got everything I need now.
Going to get the engine and gearbox in paint and refurb the rocker cover while I'm waiting to get the car back.
So far the list of stuff I have for the swap looks something like this..


K20a2 engine.
Dc5 gearbox.
Hasport egk1 billet mounts.
Hasport kswap wiring harness.
Rcrew kswap manifold.
Tegiwa kswap fuel rail.
Competition C ultra light flywheel.
DSS level 1 shafts.
Dc5 shifter cables.
Dc5 shifter box.
BDL 70mm throttle body.
Hybrid racing kswap intake kit.
Hondata intake manifold gasket.
Clockwise orange sump baffle.
Aluminium ep3 radiator.

A few bits still left too get like RBC, K100 and other bits too finish off the car such as gauges, harnesses and that.
Will update once I get pics from the roll cage fitter.
 
Still waiting for the car too come back from having it's roll cage, should be this weekend hopefully, in the mean time I have been painting the engine and gearbox, fitted my competition clutch lightened flywheel and exedy clutch kit. Also been doing the wiring for the s2000 clock conversion.

Silly question but what paint did you buy? I bought some silver engine paint, came out like grey primer :(
