StevieG's K20 Integra DC2

Had the car back from paint last week!

It's finally all one colour and much brighter than it used to be!

Built the rear back up, sealed the lights in and got the rear loom plugged back in as neat as I could

Finished off getting all the brake lines and master cylinder bolted up so I could bleed them and make sure the all the new lines didn't leak

But they did, spend ages trying too stop them leaking but turned out the bulkhead fittings for the rear lines where pretty crap and wouldn't seal very well so then moved the rears a different route so I wouldn't have too use the fittings, all brakes are bled now. Washer bottle is now in the boot with the hose and wiring tucked away, got myself a s2000 clutch master cylinder too fit and a fibreworxs passenger side duct. Finished fitting the rbc inlet too the engine with the water pump, pulleys and start motor, hopefully by the weekend I can get the engine into the car and start wiring it up.

This is how the engine bay is looking now.

Glad I let R motion do mine! You got all the conversion harnesses?

Also you got K100 or Kpro?

Haven't got an ecu yet, that's the last bit I need, getting a kpro I think.

Got the conversion harness but I just hate wiring, I don't understand it haha the rest of the conversion has been fine though to be the fair! Engine goes in much easier than a b series!

When you say you sealed the rear lights up, did you use some added sealant on top of the gasket?

Yeah, i had a problem a while back when the car was on the road that my boot was filling up with water, found it was one of the rear lights leaking. Took the light out and just run a bead of sealant around the gasket and put it back in place, this stopped my leak and was dry every since. This time since rebuilding the car from having a respray i done the same again but for both lights just incase :nice:

Sweet car and good to see it getting used the way it should be!

cant wait to see this finished looks excellent :)

Nice one guys! :nice:

Got a mounting plate to bolt the dc5 shifter ontop of the exhaust tunnel made in work this week so hopefully have that fitted along with the cables this weekend.

Started stripping the engine loom down last night so I can try place it as neat as possible and recover it in braided sleeving.

Also ordered a dry cell battery with mounting cage and all the cable and terminals too make a new charge harness, so hopefully this weekend I'll get all the wiring done too!

Looks awesome man!

quick question, how did you bolt the shifter on the tunnel like that? looking to do the same with my swap in the nine. Would like some ideas :)

Thank you! :nice:

For the shifter too sit on the tunnel, I made a plate to go underneath it.
Because the holes In the shifter line up where the tunnel starts too curve down, the plate has countersunk screws through it and through the tunnel then has counter sunk screws from underneath going up through the shifter too.
