What's the best way around the airbag light when changing the steering wheel to one without an airbag I heard u can get a thing to plug in to do away with it or is it just as easy to whip the bulb out?

Measure the restiance on the srs and go to maplin and buy a resistor.
Just stick this into the loom plug and should fool system to think srs plugged in.
Dunx

i made it from a fiche from a exploded airbag.
Worked already in a dc2 with no srs-light and mine is 2 ohm

Kl Kl cheers for that guys raging a flung an old steering wheel bout 6 months ago coUPS have adapted that

Do you have to remove the clocks or is there some easy way to reach around?

If not, not do you get the clocks out?

No you will need the instruments out.

Take the two Phillips screws out the top of the surround and pull it out.

The instrument cluster its self is held to the dash with a few Phillips IIRC. then it just pulls out (GENTLY). No idea which plug is the air bag though but trial and error will sort that out.

Everything airbag related has yellow plugs, ABS related orange plugs

The airbag light will be the bottom right IIRC. Its a wired light pull it out and job done no more airbag light

if you just unplug the unit from the back of the clocks as i did in my last ej9, the passenger air bag will still deploy i found this out after losing a fight with a house ;)
