I vote normal momo hub with a slim QR for a few reasons:

-its closes to the setup i have which is: momo crush type hub with FET Sports Ver2 QR (the NRG slim is a FET Sports copy)
-reason for the momo hub is because its a crush type hub so if you get into an accident and slam against it, it will crush instead of sending the steering wheel into your chest
-second reason is because it keeps the steering wheel closes to stock position.
-last reason is it looks very clean and closest to stock looking imo.

Here is a pic of my car:

I am running a momo hub with a "fat" NRG quick release because i'm very tall and the stock driving position wasn't good for me (steering wheel was too far) so i wanted to take the steering closer to me.

Here's how it looks

I've got my new Momo to go on either today or tomorrow. I'm using the NRG thin hub and the fat quick release. It looks like it will be a great combination, I'll post some pics as soon as I install it. :D

hi all im looking for a nrg quick release fat version and nrg short hub how close would that setup be to oem?

many thanks j

Any more information on this?

Has anyone managed to bypass the SRS light or know of a hub that comes with the plug in?

I hope people have read what i posted, a solid hub is very dangerous guys!!

i think its safe as long as you have a bucket seat with a harness system

correct, but unfortunately most people don't, it's like people who have a cage with factory seats and factory harness, very dangerous!

agreed, did EVERYONE get that, listen to Blinx people !!!!!!!! :thanks:
ha thanks, i think sometimes we all just get too caught up in modification and forget about how much safety is engineered into our cars and how much of that can be sacrificed if mods are not done the right way. I my self am guilty of some unsafe mods but i did so knowing it, as long as people know the risk and make the decision on there own thats fine, but it would be terrible for someone to get injured out of ignorance...

yes truly, my friend got to an accident with a racing steering wheel, he survived, fishtailed from a corner in the street and hit the tree in the rain, the tree hit in the middle of the two left side doors, i just removed the srs steering wheel a few days before, he said if the oem wheel was there he wouldn't be alive, so the first thing i did when he got another car is that i removed both airbags (i dislike them because of what happened) added you bucket seats, 2 harness system, and a non-srs steering wheel setup, i am going to tell him about the collapse hub like momo, for better safety :thanks:
