Stay D16y7 or go B16b?

I obviously would love the real engine instead of my toy engine i have now(d16y7) but can anyone give me some feed back on how much ill love the b16b in my ek2000.

Its night and day difference.
 
as said before, have you ever been in a ek9 ? lets just say you will not be dissapointed with the b16b ;)
 
I've went from D16Z6 to B16A so I think I can say what the difference will be. There will be difference from 0-60, but not insanely huge. The most extra fun is when you pass that 60mph and it just keeps pulling and pulling. It's seriously worth it especially if you consider the prices for a B16 in the UK.

I too have gone from d16y8, to b16 and now to the b18c-r. If you are going to swap, go all out and get the b18c-r in there!
 
I wish b18 type r was in the budget but its just not, im from the US so prices are not as cheap from what i gather im looking at 3,100 us dollars engine with lsd, and everything to my door at that price. i also have never been in a b-series engine car only ep3 k20a or whatever it is and the 06 civic si k20.. idk the exact model for either, where will i compare to my brothers ep3 with the b16b swap in?

What do the following engines cost in the US: B18C, B16B, B16A, B18C1/B18C-GSR

lmfao yeah i do so im constantly down shifting followed by a soon after up shift to the same gear i was in just to maintain traffic flow!!

b16a is 1450, b16b 2600, b18c 2800, b18 type r is like 3,000, something close to those.
 
You'd be crazy not to take a B18C-R for 400 quid more. A nice exhaust, good intake, ECU and remap won't get you near what a B18C-R does and costs much more than 400 quid.
