squeaks noise when steering :S

Hey guys, just got my car today, only draw back is the steering, when i turn left to right it squeaks quite loud, sounds as though its like rubber squeaking? could it be a track rod end or? cheers for any help guys.

Check your upper and lower ball joints

Sweet thanks pal, just jacked up the car and took wheel off, steered it left to right and it didn't squeak. So put the wheel back on and dropped the jack (not literally) :L turned the steering left to right and no noises now? strange, only difference between today and yesterday was the rain.

Could also be your power steering pump low on fluid.

i have this . getting it fixed today it was my front passenger side lower ball joint .. cheap fix even better for you that its just stopped ha

look for play up and down in the vertical movement in the balls joints also

Sweet thanks guys. Im going to just replace them all as they look as though they do and saves me doing this later.
