Apologies if these sort of threads arent allowed, I'm just unsure as to where to gauge these.

I have a set of Sprint Hart Dunlop Formula CP-R wheels (two piece I believe) which are 4x100 fitment and in size 14" x 7". I need to check the offset but I believe it's either ET20 or ET35 (tbc).

They are obviously super duper silly rare. I've seen them go in the states for circa $1000+ but never seen a set in this size up for sale in the UK.

I would probably be ok with shipping them abroad so if there is a want for them then i'll try and get them on a US honda forum, I just dont really know where to aim them price wise.

They could do with a refurb as they are pitted from brake dust etc but when refurbed they look silly (they prob either need a rub down and a polish or a lick of paint. or both).

Will try and get some pics up of their current condition asap.

again apologies if this isn't allowed on here, it's been a while since i had an ek9. :)

I just paid £300 for a battered set of 15" CPR's, when they are mint as of next week i can assure you i wont be selling them for any less than £750 without tyres

14" rims tend not to fetch anywhere near as much as 15's...

I paid £300 for the pretty mint set of 6.5x14 CPR's I have on my EE9.

Stick them on a vw forum dub boys go nuts for jap wheels (perfect for lupo?)
Probably be good for mx5s aswell :)

If they need refurbing youll not get big money a hundred or two max, if thier mint youll get big bucks cause its so expensive to refurb wheels these days

Anyhoo good luck with sale!

Interesting. Cheers boys. I was thinking of a couple of hundred quid so that looks about right. I wouldn't say refurbing wheels is expensive, its a few packs of wet + dry and some elbow grease, or 30quid a corner to get it done professionally local.

I like the 750quid comment. That works for me tbh. Ha. Maybe pm me where you are getting them refurbed if not being done yourself?

Cheers

Mine are being refurbed at the minute and i can assure you its not cheap lol im paying £100 a wheel due to them not being split rims so they have to be masked up to paint the inside, then polish all the lips. Plus i have some curb marks which need taken out. Some people wont pay big money for CPR's others will, i certainly wont sell mine for cheap it taken me 3 months to find a set in the UK in the right stud pattern! I was even considering buying from ICB in America

£100 a wheel for a refurb? jesus christ thats ridiculous, certainly far more than I have ever been quoted mate.

I've had wheels fully repaired (that were dented), sand blasted and powder coasted for less than £50 a wheel locally. £100 per wheel is mental.

I thought that was the going rate to be honest mate lol even the guy i bought them off said he got quoted £100 per wheel

unless you're having them re-cast in gold, no, thats quite expensive :p

Ohright haha, they are in a bad state though. They need welding done plus they are dented, plus they all need masking because they are not split rims. I'tll be worth it though :)

gonna put these up for sale soon, need rid. have some pics etc to highlight condition.
