Hi guys, I have recently bought an ek4 vti and ATM can't afford coilovers, for this reason I will most likely get a set of 40mm lowering springs until I can afford coilovers. Can any1 recomend a good set please. Nothing overly expensive please. Just some that are 40mm and are a decent ride. Thanks :D also if any1 is selling an ek9 lip I want it ;) And other parts.

Eibach are good springs, 40mm but £150 i think

TenzoR do springs and they are the best looking with about 50-60mm drop. Not sure on the price though.

Ive being using a set of blox 60mil springs for the past two months and find them very good, there firm but not uncomfortable and handle very well imo. Cost me 180 euro so I don't know Wat that is in pounds or if its out of ur budget

do yourself a favour bud and save for another month or so and get eibach's. until i bought coilovers they were the best springs i had. i tried cheap jamex springs for £70 etc when i was younger and wouldn't bother again.

i would go for the eibach mate, i tryed tenzo R on my old ej9. Bouncy as hell looked like one of these tools u see in stupidly slammed VAGS bouncing all over the road.

I've got some RS*R springs on EK9 shocks on my EK4 and I really rate them for fast road use and I bought them off here for a decent price

Bad news.! i bought some bc coilovers and tried fitting them today and the rear bottom bolt that connects the strut to the LCA snapped!!!! :( any ideas?
