has anyone done this?
If so does anyone have a pic of what it looks like.
What do you guys think of it?
Im painting the car midori green and i was just thinking it might look good but i want to see what it looks like first. I tried to search for it but i found nothing.
 
I have my car like that and i love it!! Here is pic:

And mine is a genuine carbon Spoon spoiler, not a cheap imitation.

unfortunately not, it has been parked for a few years now, until recently i would bring it out at least once a month, but lately that has stopped all together, i am just too paranoid of theft and cops :(
 
i feel you man. im scared everyday driving mine around.

Well my "cheap" imitation wasnt so cheap...:( Haha. I could of sworn you had a ek9 spoiler...

why are cops so strict?
cant you just go at the speed limit?
 
what can they give you a ticket for? a car that is better than theres?

MANY things, for me they would give me a ref ticket which is the worse, it means i have to go to state inspection, as soon as the inspector sees my illegal turbo and motor he will tell me to return my car to stock or i cannot drive it :mad:

If not a ref ticket then i could get tickets for:

-modified exhaust
-tinted windows
-lowering
-motor swap
-no catalytic converter
-etc
-etc
-etc

In all honesty if they wanted to they could impound my car right on the spot. That is my biggest fear.
 
That is far too strict. In Britain as I&#8217;m sure you are aware you can do more or less anything to your car. They don&#8217;t seem to care as long as they get their ridiculous road TAX. Move to britain and Bring the car:nice:

surely theres not a law for lowering a car or having tints?
how come your turbo is illegal?
 
The differences between the uses of an MIS and how effective is it for Sally are
Surely you&#8217;re allowed to do mods on cars it&#8217;s your car. The only illegal stuff on cars are over DB exhaust and ridiculous lights. I think that is quite pathetic. I feel for you dude :(
 
That really looks good Blinx, was thinking of doing it to mine a while ago. Don't know what to do now.

Yes there is, tint is $150 ticket, lowering you can also get a ticket for, but trucks can be lifted to the sky :angry2::angry2: so unfair!:angry2::angry2:

well not all of America is like this, it depends what state your in, some states like Texas or Florida have virtually no laws about this sort of thing, i live in California where the import scene started so the cops and law makers are getting tired of it.

We can do some mods but they have to CARB certified, like intake/exhaust/header, but thats about it.

well if you paint the wing you better paint the rest of the carbon too :nice:
