Very nice video but the engine never revs above 10000 rpm and the powerband stoped at 9000 rpm and after 9000 rpm the engine was dead.
 
alot of information but every 1 is sayin the other is rong who is rite lol
 
You gotta love these guys :)) When he held it in third (I think) for about 10 seconds at 10k RPM that was just brutal. Not so bad if the engine belongs to someone else I suppose :nono:
 
Over 10k sounds mental, its like it does not want to go any further and something is about to go wrong - but just carries on! Is this the highest anyones ever revved one to consistently?
 
Is he actually making power up that high? It just doesn't seem necessary to be reving that high :confused:
 
that s2k was sketchy in the second video.. the spoon civic was really fast!

Why not just have the crank balanced and use a decent harmonic balancer? **** load cheaper and does the same thing pretty much. That engine was never going to make power that high up with no changes to inlet manifold runner length, volume etc, I suspect the cam profile would need looking at also.
