Just thought I'd share these pics with you all. When I parked my car it was 36 degrees and clear. This is what i found 2 hours later when I was leaving. Sorry for the pic quality, i took them with my phone. Driving in the snow is pretty decent though, that LSD really shines!

Hand brake drivers REPRESENT! Yeah, around here, snow is a given, but it's really inconsistent. 3 days ago it was 67 degrees and sunny, now were under 2 inches. Then most "fun" thing about Kansas winter is the occasional ice storm, which rolls through and drops 1/2inch of solid ice on everything. I find the EK9 is probably the most stable and fun car i've driven for these conditions. Slide into a corner, then power out the other side. The only issue i've got is: with my motor mounts and clutch, hill starts on ice are a pain. I spin all the way to third!

Yup, EJ6. Every now and then i try to forget that i'll never have a real Type R. I'm working for something as close to an EK9 as I can get in the States.
B16B engine and tranny, rear disk (not 5 lug yet), suspension, not quite an EK9, but maybe a close cousin?:nice: Anyway, I love the car, and that engine is a beautiful thing.

I've never seen snow in person :(

LoL!? Seriously?? Thats mental!

I have to laugh, America, Canada,France and a good few other countries get 4 feet of snow every 2 months n the winter and manage to cope, Scotland gets 4 inches and everything shuts down like the plagues coming its ridicolous!!!!

Kansas City's winters really aren't that bad, I come from nothern Iowa, so a few feet of snow is not unusual. The funny thing about KC though is that we never get enough consistent weather for drivers to develop any adverse weather driving skills. I drove pizza delivery for 4 1/2 years, so I can drive in anything, but watch the highways when we get a rainstorm, and watch the accidents happen. First inch of snow for the year, there's cars (mainly 4WD SUVs) off the road everywhere. Kansas City drivers are some of the worst i've seen, and I've been to Barcelona.:wow:

lol! Love the end bit "and ive been to Barcelona" lol yeah i know what are they like they cant drive for shiit and occasionaly use the pavements when they cant get through traffic lights on there stupid mo-peds.

I think mo-peds are for people who are scared to ride a real bike lol

Didn't know Barcelona drivers have this reputation lol! Why do you think it happens there so much? Bad driving lessons, hot temprered mediteranian mentality maybe??

I don't know man... Barcelona's a great city, i really enjoyed my time there, but i couldn't drive there. I was almost run over while crossing a street 3 times, the parking in some areas was horrible (4 cars deep in front of some cafes) and i actually witnessed an accident between a Citroen and a moped, and the moped came out on top. The Citroen hit a building. Other than traffic, Barcelona rocks! The public trasportion system is pretty good too.:nice:
