Hey guys I just got a set of Buddy Club N+ Coilover and i was wonder, you know at the top where the pillow top is? Well which setup is more Longer Lasting for a daily driver? More soft or more stiff?

#2: Also, what are your ride's height? I was thinking of doing a 2 finger gap between each wheel well but is that too low? I don't want to scrap the dip and such if its too low.

#3, do you think its necessary to install camber kits if I'm just doing a 2 finger gap drop? Will it be fine without it?

Thanks alot guys, im really new at this

1- the shock should last longer on its soft setting but thats not why you bought them, put them on the setting you like and enjoy them! :)

2-lower the car to the point YOU think it looks good, then take it for a drive to check ground clearance and drivability, its your car, you spent the money on the coilovers you should do what you think looks best :nice: thats what i did and everybody loves the drop my car has :)

3-depends on #2 once you have the car at its ideal ride heigh to suite your prefrence take it to an alignment shop to see how much your camber is off, if you need camber kit, buy one, but toe in toe out is what usually really kills tires.

congrats on the new coilovers, post up some pics when your done :nice:

Your ride height will depend on how stiff your springs are. The stiffer the springs, the lower you can go without bottoming out. Regardless, a 2 finger gap should be fine. If you have the money, its recommended you get camber kits anyway, at least in the front. That way you can correct camber in the future if you want to fine tune for the track or set your ride height lower. If you don't have the money, doing a 2 finger gap with a good toe alignment should do fine for now.

So after I install the coilovers, i take it to the alignment shop and have them align the car. After that IF my CAMBER are off, then i would have to buy a Camber kit correct?

Also what does toe in toe out mean? any way of preventing it?

Sorry im such a noob

assume you are looking at the vehicle from the top, like your looking down at the roof:

toe in or out is like this, lets assume when the wheels are straight they look like this l l when the car is toe in they look like this / \ when they are tow out they look like this \ /

im sure dino can explain this better :( im no good at explaining sometimes :( but to answer your other question, when you get an alignment they are usually adjusting the toe, not the camber.
