snapped stud

hi, i was working on the car today and was putting the rocker cover back on and one of the studs has snapped off on the bottom left corner just above the black washer type thing so obviously i now cant put a nut on there, just wondering if anyone knows if itl be ok to drive or will oil leak out and also are those studs pretty easy to replace, thanks for any help

ok sussed it dead easy to replace just unbolts from the head just need a new part no driving for me til monday

Thease studs snap easy if there done up to tight. they only need to be done up to 10NM.

you can pick one up from honda or oemjapparts for a few quid.

yeah i know left the torque wrench at work but i only nipped them up not too tight maybe been overtightened in the past dont know couldnt belive it snapped u reckon honda will have them on shelf?

yeah one stud, its not too bad considering the price of some parts. Could at least give u a new nut with it though for that price.
