Sky Inusrance please explain yourselves!

I don't see how they can keep raising insurance AND on top of that petrol prices are increasing so fast. They are forcing them selves into a even worse position people in the future are just simply going to refuse to drive at this rate.

I have moved to within walking distance of work due to the costs of driving, I refuse to pay these rip off prices anymore. I'll pay to play, but I will not be bent over to get to work, it's beyond a ****ing joke now.

The whole system needs a re-structure, the insurance industry is built out of a tower of vultures and 90% are not needed. Accident management companies, personal injury lawyers, crooked garages and ineffecient claims handling open to fraud and abuse, it is unsustainable. Breaking point will be soon and I hope the whole crooked mess crashes and burns.

It needs to be taken back to the core point. Damage someones car, get it repaired ASAP. That's it, no hyper inflated courtesy cars, no compensation for made up injuries, no bullshit. Not like the crap I've just had to deal with where a scratch ended up taking 3 years and £5000 to sort.

Thought it was a known fact insurance varys for postcodes depending on crime etc? or am i just being a tard?

Your just being a tard , it has nothing to do with post coeds unless for my post code BS41 EK9's are higher to insure and in his post code Glasgow somewhere DC5's are higher to insure.

Your postcode area is either good or bad mine is actually good.

It don't make sense does it.

:(

I have just spoke to Olly from Sky Insurance and it seems from Sky's point of view it is correct that my policy should increase as the EK9 has a B18 and is more heavily modified then the DC5.

So its the other parties insurance company Elephant that are having him over apparently. As he should be paying less as his soon to have less modified DC5 should command a lower premium that the EK9.

hey dude ,hope all is well i work in insurance pm me and we can chat c if theres anythn we can do !!!

** And btw guys just so u all know insurance has went up roughly 34% in the last 12months....***

Its shocking a dont know how they can justify it ,but hey....

By Law we have to have it, But the insurance industry charge what they charge with no rhyme or reason and no accountability. If a political party jumps on this they will gain a lot of support IMO.

Very true Immense, I would certainly be motivated to vote if a party was going to shake up the insurance system and stop these over-blown pricing and legal systems.

Thank you for clarifying, moving from a lightly modified DC5 to a very highly modified EK9 has indeed resulted in an additional premium.

I wouldn't call the DC5 lightly modified as it has aftermarket manifold, exhaust, intake, coilovers, brakes, wheels. It has more power than the EK9. Admittedly it does have a stock enigne and no cage so less modified yes lightly modified no. lol
