Sky Insurance 20% Insurance Discount for UK EK9 Owners


Hi I would just like to know if you guys would insure me on a 1.4 EJ9 standard.

im 17 and this will be my first car =) postcode is SE11 (any more info just PM me) cheers

Hi,

apologies but no, our minimum criteria is to be aged 19 or over with a full 2 years driving experience.
 
Insurance was up for renewel this week. So phoned you guys up and got a quote..
Unfortunatley 'jason' (i think thats who i spoke to) couldnt really get near my renewel price. But still thought Id say that service was second to none.

Also respect to sky for getting on the forums and putting the effort in. I see you are on driftworks aswell. Havnt seen any other insurer make these efforts, so fair play.


(nearly 21, proof of 4yrs ncb (iv had 10mnth policies) uk ek4) im paying £740 fully comp with elephant this year..

I tried to contact you when i wanted to insure my Integra DC2 however no one called me back after i spoke to someone :(

What sort of price would i be looking at on an EK9, 21 years old, 1 years NCB (been a named driver) and 4 years driving experience. Postcode DN21 1RT

apologies but PR 1-8 postcodes are excluded from our car club scheme so we would be unable to provide you with a competitive quotation I'm afraid.

No I'm afraid not but please make it clear you are a EK9.org member, we do try and look after our affiliated car club members and we are usually competitive for van insurance.

Just like to say praise to skyinsurance, Top guys and actually really do go out their way to help you, First time insuring the 9 they covered me with all my mods declared and have kept me well informed... Couldnt recommend them enough!

Do you insure 20 year olds on EK9's? Got no NCB, no points, have been a named driver for 3 years and also 3 years motorcycle NCB if that helps. My postcode stars with BD20 aswell if that helps as I know area effects it aswell.

Hi,

no I'm afraid not. We'd need you to be 21 or over for an ek9 usually but we do not insure in the BD postcode area via our scheme.
