Skuk2 shifter or K Tuned shifter ?

i have bought a Skunk2 shortshifter and weighted knob , and i am not happy with the length of it tbf , looks the part but i want a taller shifter , and have come across the Ktuned shifter which is also fully ajustable , and looks like a better bit off kit ....


i posted another thread about the skunk2 and people seem to think that it is a good shifter , but if anyone has tryed both or have the Ktuned please leave any feedback
 
yeah ive just come across the tegiwa shifter , is a great length but is the same throw as the oem shifter so is not a short shifter is just longer , im getting my skunk2 duall shifter and weighted skunk2 gearknob fitted thursday :) and have just bought the circuit hero shifter extender so will be 90 mm higher than standard :)

says the tegiwa is 150 mm higher standard , imagine that with a shifter extender aswell !! tbh if there shifter changed the throw i would off gone for it :) but going to stick with the Skunk2 as everyone says its the best or one off the best .
 
Im interested to see how the skunk2 sits with the extender, can you post some pics when its fitted.
 
yeah i will budd , still waiting for the extender to come , circuit hero sure are taking there time, said it could be up to another two weeks , pffft
 
here you go:nice: could only get one photo as the camera was really messing up :angry: i have to say im well chuffed with it , when i just had the racing shortshifter , it was to stiff to go through the gears for my liking , but now the heavy gearknob is so high the weight just throws it into gear , makes a massive difference , you can really go up and down the gears quick !!

is fine mate , and is amazing to drive , im uploading a video off it so you can see what you think with the clearance , its just a normal drive not booting it in the video , its called - Testing my GoPro 2 in my Jdm Eg6
 
i use a japanese C's shifter, it's probably 1cm taller than stock shifter, but it's perfect for me.

Just been to have a look at the K Tuned B series shifter and doesn't give a price.

Anyone know how much they are?
 
3 year bump :) anyone know if the K tuned moves the shift knob closer to the driver? It doesn't look like it moves too much just in height.
