sensible cars


i regretted selling my jordon a few years ago but this was because insurance was just to crazy and i wanted to gain some NCB. the main two factors are space and and insurance if i could get insurance on a normal run around and the jordan id keep a modified car, probly pick up a decent run around for a few grand and then theirs having enough space to keep two cars.
 
nothing else appeals to me. i'd only have an ek9 that's far from standard or some kind of sick race car. wouldn't want to move backwards!

I had that with my Dc2 did love it to bits but had to use it for my commute, with the exhaust on it shitty roads and coilovers it was not the best car for the task.

That is why i got the Accord nice and comfy but fast when you need it to be, just nice having minimal cabin noise but i am getting old!
 
Two cars FTW. Makes you appreciate the special one so much more. (Even when you can't drive it!)
 
i have 2 cars, well maybe 3 or 4 tbh but unfortunatly they are all not sensible LOL

1 jordan = in peices and it would be comfier to be towed behind it by your ears than sit in it :/
1 ZR van = audio bliss but slow, low and a bit dull
1 rover 220 coupe turbo track car = stripped caged....no ideal lol

need something nice to drive not just when balls out
 
I think when you've got the bug for modding, I would have to mod something on any car I'd get, be it as little as changing the alloys to my choice, and I think lowering to remove arch gap just purely for looks would be a must.
 
before i crashed my jordan all i wanted to do was sell it n then after the crash n during the very long rebuild all i wanted to do was have it dropped on its arse carboned up shiney as fuk n out cruising with my shades on lol i get notions to sell now n again but if i was to sell it would b for sumthin a bit more ridicous lol
 
i agree with what steven said driving a bonkers car daily ruins it imo it takes away the special feeling it gives you everytime you drive it i had to use my rx7 daily for a while and i got fed up with it daily and couldnt be bothered with it didnt drive it for like a week or two jumped back in and was like wow what was wrong with me! deffos having a second/less bonkers car for more regular use is the way forward
 
ive just got a std 1.6 mx5, early higher power one, as a runaround and commuter.
save the 9 for serious stuff
