Seen your car, whats your job?

I'm a student studying Mechanical Engineering at Heriot Watt. Got 2 part time jobs too, I work at Halfords and a golf course.

Update on my 'job'. Finished my Product Design degree last year.

Now working as a CAD Technician at an Exhaust and Catalyst company.

I provided all technical drawings, packing diagrams, manufacturing drawings for flanges etc. Take care of the companies portfolio, 2D & 3D product images (3000+ items), high quality 3D renders and graphic design for marketing and promotional material.

I may get frigidity sitting in an office all day, but I enjoy the job.

Designing a 100 cell cat for mine very soon! among other things :)

I work in Student Loans (collecting the money back in repayment) - so basically I have students/former students shouting at me all day

Part time uni studying civil engineering. Part time job working nights at tesco. Full time legend.

I quit my job a few weeks ago haha so I currently sleep and study economics.

one year on and doing the exact same ha yas, hopefully still am in another years time

Sounds good. I do similar, but less fancy rendering stuff and more general machining/weldment/casting drawings for big **** off gas turbines.

Bored of it now TBH, been doing it five years and want to do more engineering. Want to finish my BEng so I can move up the ladder, but it'll mean leaving the IOW most likely, which won't go down well with the missus...

This thread is cool and depressing at the same time lol some amazing jobs out there.

I'm a gardener/Groundsman. Work at a school now but hopefully taking over another school next year as head groundsman/handyman. Get a free house with the job like most groundsman I guess there's the nice perk of the job other than that boring as hell.

Want to design furniture or be a psychologist really but getting a bit late in life to change career :(
