Seats and rails help needed

Looking on getting Recaro seats but unsure what rails I need.. as far as I know EK9 rails a lot easier to fit because DC2 rails need modifying.. but can I get Recaros from a DC2 to fit onto EK9 rails because DC2 seats seem to be cheaper..?

on the de2 rail mount that doesn't quite line you just have to hammer flat the small step, hacksaw the hole to make it into a slot, fit bolt with large washer. best to get this washer welded to rail ;)

Thanks man, but I can't help but feel that sounds like a fair bit of effort that could be avoided if I was to get some EK9 rails.. I don't know haha
 
So I've just found some cheap rails from a CRX for sale, would they bring me any joy?
 
I've got the whole package of ek9 seats and ek9 rails for sale in the classifieds ;)....just saying!
 
What's wrong with red seats in a blue car? Lol,plenty folk put them into blue coupes etc. Nah not interested in selling the rails seperately unfortunately

Don't blame ya for keeping them together and now you've got me thinking haha
 
I don't know if the reply has worked to your PM mate but yeh I can easy get a quote for postage and take it from there
