Hello all!

Here are some pictures and more info about my '96 Honda Civic EK4!

It's an original Dutch (LHD) Civic EK4, with all of the available factory goodies.
Since I like the JDM version's appearance alot more then the EUDM I decided to make it as JDM as it gets!

I ordered a JDM SiR front bumper lip, aswell as the DOHC Vtec stickers to fit the sidepanels.

When I bought the car, the backbox was all rotten so I replaced it for a JDM 2,5" Kakimoto GT catback system, also I replaced my catalyst for a 2,5" testpipe.

The shocks and springs has been replaced by a set from Mugen's catalog.
I now roll on a Mugen Showa set which lowered the car for about 4 cm (1.6 inches)
The handeling has gone trough the roof!

I recently bought an OEM ITR shifter which will be installed soon to improve my ehm, shifting!
Also I have a Password:JDM black / red stiched shift booth and a silver gearknob for the looks on the inside!

I have probably missed a few things to write about, but pictures say more then words!

Enjoy! - Sd075

Just installed the catback:

Oh, to style the rear a bit I recently got rid of all the emblems except for the "H" ofcourse :p
Also replaced the taillights for the facelift version, like the red/white more then the orange corner ones.

I like it, later on when it gets warmer I would recommend a bit more of a drop in the front and for rims you MUST GO BRONZE!!

it's a shame the USDM market only received this chassis in a CX/DX trim level i.e crap engine and drums out back...

Thank goodness for us, most Honda parts are compatible and we can nearly take apart our cars with a 10mm socket wrench

cleeeeeeen! Sir lip is must have for prelift civics, looks so cool!

That exhaust has a great tone! En dat weet ik omdat ik hem in het echt gehoord heb @ de strip :p

Thanks for the nice responses!

I'd love to go just an inch lower but both my Kakimoto and Mugen dont allow it hehe.

The sound of the exhaust really is sick and it does look a bit ridiciulous in some way. Think i'll get me an aftermarket rearbumper like Bomex or a VTI-S lip to somewhat hide it a bit :)

Hi Folks!
Cleaned the EK4 last saturday in preparation for a photoshoot yesterday!
Here are the results :)

Greetings from Holland!

Hi all,

It's been a while again since I last updated my topic here so here it comes:

Since the Kakimoto GT catback made sure I was going to have some problems with the authorities I decided to get rid of it while it wasn't too late yet.

I came across an EK9 Jasma Mugen Twinloop so I just couldn't resist:

Since the Mugen is way to quiet compared to the Kakimoto I wanted the TL to growl just a bit more, obvisiously it had to be the intake system.
I searched our local shops here in Holland and bumped on this Spoon Kevlar airflow pipe (replica) for a good price.

In the meanwhile I have had a semi-pro photoshoot by a girl who's crazy about Honda's and drops by the garage some time, the results:

(The black EG on the pics is hers btw)

The shop made me a good offer so I decided to shop a little more, he was also selling replicants of the Beaks tiebar which were identical.
So I ordered one in gold.

Replica Spoon and Beaks:

Hmm, I just realised I don't have any pics of the beaks yet rofl..

I've had my OEM JDM Facelift taillight units from the beginning
I just never realised those come without the reflector which sits in the EDM units
So I decided to install a set of runninglights:

So after that I wanted the Civic to look just a bit more aggresive, for the love of Mugen I wanted a Mugen front!
At the very moment I decided to change the looks of the car another shop had just imported a genuine Mugen prefacelift EK grill, I just had to have it:

Prologue previous post ^

Just the SiR didn't really fit with the looks of the Mugen grill, so I got me a PU facelift Mugen front bumper lip to replace the SiR one.
Also I installed a set of OEM stanley yellow square foglights to complete the front.

Installing:

Picked up a new set of wheels last saturday:

Rays/Volk Garcia tune CAL choppy in 15x6.5 et35 4x100.

It came with the original RAYS angled valve stems and shiney saucers ><
I chose Yokohama Parada rubbers, they will be mounted in about 2 weeks.

Cheers!
