Hi, I've lurked on here for a while and had a few Hondas in the past... EG6, EK4 and a 96-Spec DC2 which I sold about 6 months ago. Was settled with my 07 Impreza STi until a guy on the Subaru Owners Club saw an old sale advert and offered me strong money for it, so decided to sell it. Immediately regretted it cause I was left with a pretty stinkin' MK6 Escort runaround!! :(:angry2:

Bought a Mondeo ST200 as a nicer runaround and had decided to stay away from a proper 'nice' car until I bought a house and got settled in.. however, one of my mates offered me his car which I've known since it came into the UK as a very clean, low mileage, standard example.

Its got a bit more go and is a bit more low than it was, I'll take some proper pictures once I've given it a real clean inside and out.

Here's a wee look at the car sitting next to my sisters '06 EP3 Premier when I got it home, I'm sure regulars here will know the '9 as Haribo1187's minter which was Will Tuned towards the beginning of the year:

As I said, its had a bit of work done to it over the past wee while and its now putting out 211WHP which is transferred onto the road through an MFactory/Quaife gearbox.. so as you can guess, it nips on. :drive::wow:

:wow: Did Haribo sell up then!! I'm sure i read that he was keeping it.

Yea, Andy/Haribo sold up... he's wanting to put the cash towards a house and has got his Gixxer to roll around on when its dry and he needs a speed fix. :D

Haha, true Sandy... never knew you had an EK9 though?!

Hey mate, very nice civic! sure is a weapon, hopefully see you at the meets, crail or knockhill! :) where do you stay?
 
Thanks again guys... I'm from Fife, if I'm free and its a decent enough evening then I might either go for a blast through to Kirkcaldy or over to Dundee so you might see me around.

Once I'm happy and confident enough in the car, I'd like to stick it on an SIDC or TrackScotland trackday at Knockhill too. Wont be going near any hot hatch days, those guys are mental and I don't think I'd enjoy being pushed onto the grass by a £400 Nova Valver!! Haha :)

Aye, the car is brilliant and I'm getting used to it slowly.. feel like a bit of a plank when I get the clutch/throttle wrong and I spear forward in slow moving traffic though. Haha :)

I know, its been ages Lum.. I'm doin alright, trying to keep myself occupied anyway!! Hows things with you bud??

ha ha the joys of a good amount of power and a 2 gram fly wheel lol.

ye im doing awsume bud thanks. im a dad n that now so been very busy lol. the car has took a knock on the head for now but back on track away to get another few bits and bobs for it.

so i wont need to listen out for the poping and banging of that scooby anymore lol
 
lol @ listening for the popping and banging, na, that car has long gone to its new home in East Kilbride mate. :D

Glad to hear the family is fine and things are well with you. Good news that the cars going to be back on track too mate, always been a fan of your EK... reminds me of my old one that I had about 5 years ago:

Ok, I know the TSW alloys aren't to everyones taste.. but trust me, they were the thing to have back in 2004. Hahaha :D

As you know yourself you've got a cracking car, andy took me out in it after the "will tune" and WOW it shifted, all the best with it
 
come on clover green civics all the way ha ha. they wheels look not to bad on there.
away to get a carbon bonnet and carbon spoiler but not sure weather to get the ek9 one or the spoon one. and a spoon ecu
